Last nights visit to the causeway in Thomson, IL. and to Lock and Dam No. 13, north of Fulton, IL.

As always… I love this site and these beautiful photos. Today my favorites are the tree roots and the tangle of fishing net. Tree roots seem to speak patience and longevity to me and I wonder what that tree has seen and been a part of in it’s lifetime. The fishing net I enjoy because of the randomness of it all yet still having pattern and rhythm, that’s the way I see life, unpredictable but still finding a flow that works, and in the end has purpose and meaning.
